After an email moments ago I realized I had made very little mention of the Arms of Gregynog.

The following link is to the Blayney Coats of Arms carved in black oak over the fireplace of the dining room at Gregygnog (now a residential educational centre of the University of Wales (Prifysgol Cymru), and the Institute of Rural Health).

Here you will find the Arms of Caradoc Freichfras and Rhys Goch.
 
What is significant here is that the carvings date to the early 1600's making them the earliest complete depiction of the arms as far as I know.
